last year, the Michael Davis Band has played in concert with the
Charlie Daniels Band, Dickie Betts, Doug Stone, Darryl Worley,

entertainers. When speaking of the Americana category of bands
across the country, the Michael Davis Band is considered by many
people in the music industry, to be one of the country's best. The
Bands material has been played on regular rotation in many markets
across the South, thanks according to Davis, goes to T. J. Phillips,
the program director of WEZL Radio
in Charleston for his support of the band. Many articles have been
written about Davis over the years and one of the topics that always
comes up is his deep faith and beliefs. On every Davis CD, there is
always one song that is devoted to his love of God. One Davis' last
CD, "Better Late Than Never", two of the songs have received
a lot of attention on Radio. "I Hope There're Guitars in Heaven"
with its silky smooth productions and message has received play in
many markets across the country and "Driving Me a Mercury",
song about car racing, has also received a lot of airplay. |
